We’ll meet at the Great Falls parking lot at the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Historical Park. After you pass the guard gate, make a right and park in the lot. I’ll be sitting by the picnic benches near the handicapped parking, wearing a bright red rain jacket so you can easily spot me.

Please check the weather and dress accordingly—we walk rain or shine. Our walk is a gentle, one-mile loop along a flat gravel towpath and wooden boardwalk, with no hills. You may also want to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes.

I’ll provide a pen and small notebook, or feel free to bring your own journal. After our walk and reflection, we’ll gather for relaxed conversation over some light refreshments.
